Being the son of a home builder, Steve Thompson has been surrounded by building construction and real estate his entire life. Steve’s background includes hands on experience framing houses, installing windows and siding, placing concrete, and installing cabinets and trim. After graduating from Mills Godwin High School, Steve earned his Bachelors Degree in Commerce and Business Administration from The University of Alabama in 1997. In 1998 Steve incorporated Steve Thompson Builder, LLC and has since built all types and styles of homes.
In addition to building custom homes, Steve has done numerous additions, kitchen and bath remodels and whole house renovations. Commercial work has included shopping centers, warehouses, and retail build outs. The purchase of raw land, designing, engineering and development of subdivisions has given Steve experience in every phase of building from the ground up.
